The Mickey Mouse Plant

No where to go on Christmas night, and my hands get very itchy as i walked into the garden so i took out my tool box and started to do some annual refurbish work - painting - I have serious addiction to white paint :)

I painted these two pots white, one with a Mickey Mouse plant sitting inside. This plant has been neglected for a year, by putting it in the car porch exposed to only little indirect sunlight and almost no fertilizer at all (ok, i know i was bad)... But i promised i will treat her good from now on, hoping that she will give me some flowers by this coming Chinese New Year, haha.

This is how a Mickey Mouse plant looks like when in bloom,
from flowers to fruits.

Happy Sunday!

I love the MM plant! Where do you come up with all these cool plants? You have an amazing garden!
Smell some for me- mine are all under snow!

Wow! You have an amazing garden! I can only dream to have something as beautiful as yours, but my garden is small and too condensed :)

Yup, I notice white vases and pots aren't that so available and cost a fortune. I resorted to painting as well... :).. High five!

Anyway, your DIY are pretty amazing. You are very talented!

I've never heard of this plant, Milka, it's beautiful. I wonder if I can find one here, I will have to give it a look. Sounds like a lovely Christmas to me, spending in the garden. It's very cold here now and I am missing my hours in the garden. I know you understand how it soothes the soul.

Happy New Year's Eve and a beautiful day into the new year too!
