Just like to share with you a quote...

Iknow this plant since I was small when we used to have one at home, climbing, twining a pergola my Dad made. Love the flowers and the velvety new leaves which I used to keep in a book.I tried to look for its seedling in nurseries but couldnt find one.Is it really called Elephant Ears?

p3chandan,
I bought this Elephant Plant (as what the gardener told me) 3 years ago and i've trimmed it many times as it climbs pretty fast on my fence. Er, 've never checked whether the flowers give me seed or not. I'll check, if yes, will let you know and can send the seeds to you :)

Fun! I would never have pictured that in the leaves.

Hope you can stop by and check out my WW when you get the chance!

Hi! I like your plant. It's beautiful. I've always admire it but noted that most people got rid of it after some time. I guess it takes some diligence to maintain its beauty. You have done a great job. I have a friend who calls this a monster eating plant due to its size. Btw, I saw your comment talking about growing fruit trees for the kids to enjoy. Actually my fruit trees bear fruits within a very short time. You can enjoy them now. No need to wait for the kids to grow up. :)

A very sweet colour. That reminds me of brinjal or terung.

I agree with Diana that the first picture is very cute. You are right. This is called Elephant Vine (Argyreia nervosa). I have seen the vine at resorts, at the Secret Garden of 1-Utama and also wedding photography venues. It is a lovely vine. May you have a blessed Christmas!
