Look, who's in the garden?

I took these pics this morning and wanna share with you.
This is the little space i like. I spend most of my time here on my day off, day dreaming... and there are always so much things to do here.

I keep the flowers and vegetables seeds in the 4 drawers, on the wall. The pink and yellow containers on top of the drawers are used to dry the seeds, currently i have lady fingers and chilies in the yellow container. The white cabinet on the floor keeps my junk. The blackboard noted down what i'd fed my plants with on last fertilizing days. The little house is my garden trash, where i throw all the spent flowers from deadheading. And the signboard written there ,"The Queen Bee Lives Here" *smile*.

I bought a bicycle for this lovely couple. They need one, when im not around.

I planted something in the bird feeder late last night.
The birds don't need this, they love to share food with Roy, my dog.

I planted this Daisy 2 years ago and she is still giving me flowers.

This one is courtesy of the birds. I didn't plant this.

My fav Marigold keeps the pest away.

Lantana.

I bought this from the nursery at RM10. Petunia- rare species, hehe.

Roses, giving me flowers for N times. They love milk.

That's all for today, i hope you enjoy the tour :)
Happy Thursday!

Vine suggestion?

I am having a hard time deciding what to plant on my first garden arbor (at entrance to the veggie garden). I am thinking, a passion fruit tree or a Bougainvillea would be good, but i can't decide which is better.

What say you? Any other suggestion? I would like to hear from you, thanks :)

New comers in the garden

I went to my fav junk shop today and came home with these...

A pair of Ah Gong Ah Ma (grandpa & grandma)!
They are so darling and i can't help myself not to bring them home.

And this.
This 'carpet' is not meant for the bench but it looks nice here so i just let it.

Meanwhile these flowers are blooming beautifully in my garden.
It's my fertilizing day tomorrow.
Happy gardening to you too.

Rambutan or Guava?

If you can only have one to grow in your yard, which would you choose?

I choosed Guava, because my neighbours have Rambutans,
so that we can exchange for the fruits ;)

Happy Weekends!

Dream dream~

Picture from Google
This is the pic from Google that i keep in my pc for long. I love the arbor and the fence and the bench that all in white,.. and the house looks so cute here with the little red door companied by a little lamp on top.

Water Jasmine and Breynia Nivosa lying on fence
Way back home, i bought this mini fence at a thrift shop for only
RM4.90 v(^_^)v yeah to temporary fulfil my picket fence dream. Haha.

P/S: It is not usual to find picket fence in Malaysia, and if you do find any, it is made of plastic or steel... not wood!

Happy Tuesday.

Sneak peek of my half way done veggie garden

This is how my veggie garden looks like after 2 weeks of construction...

An arbor with picket fence! I finally have my dream comes true ;)
Meanwhile... As the outdoor is filthy, i spend most of my time indoor, making fertilizer from the kitchen. And the recipe goes...

Dry the eggshells and crush them into powder form...

Mix with rice water and keep tight in containers. They are ready to be used in 15 days' time. Rice water contains beneficial nutrients that are washed away from the rice grains while eggshells provide calcium and magnesium. Your plants will love the mixture.

And after a hard day in the office, i cooked myself a bowl of sweet and sour soup for dinner, using veggie fresh from the garden :))

Wish you have a great night.

Still a container garden

The vegetables are still in the containers...

Ladies Fingers

Cherry Tomato

All looking weak, not having enough nutrient from the soil...
But they are moving out, very soon... :)

Work in progress

I don't have much to talk and to show to you on my garden lately because....

It is in a big mess!! My veggie garden project is in progress, and it would take another 2 weeks to complete, hope everything goes smoothly! Can't wait to get back to my garden, huhuhu~

Since i don't have anything to show outside, i just thought you might be interested to see what i have inside :) I made 2 shelves in February this year and i think they look good in my living room, what say you?

And this is the other side of my living room. This longer shelf keeps my gardening books :))

Hope your Sunday is beautiful.
